Description

A fun and exciting way to learn basic origami and mechanics.

Children get to learn origami and build their own origami bird. They then build a motor to generate force in the form of rotation and combine it with their bird creation. To watch it in action, the bird can then be hung on a clothesline or attached to the top of a bottle. Watch the bird’s motorised wings flapping, as it flies around.

STEAM is at work all around us, and by recognising and understanding these principles at an early age, young people are empowered with technical and scientific knowledge, and develop lifelong skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
